Down right terrible "defense" attorney. In this case, he was judge, jury, and executioner. Didn't even try. What I mean by that is that we would've been better off going with a public defender. We would've had the same result and not been out several thousands of dollars. All he did was ask for continuances to make it seem like he was doing something with the money that you're paying him. Got several court dates wrong. Lied to the defendant about getting the charges lessened when, in fact, the plea deal was already written up for the previous court date that was a month prior. When signing the plea deal, he tossed the paperwork at the client, and I quote, "You can read, right?" After "working" with someone for a yr you would think that you would know this sorta detail about somebody. He doesn't have the pride to put any money back into his business. It feels like a rundown funeral parlor on the inside and out. I've included a pic of the waiting room ceiling.

He is the absolute best!!! He Got my boyfriend out of some trouble no problem. He is very down to earth and knows what he’s doing and actually works with people. I would 100% recommend Jeff to anyone.

Attorney Jeffrey Holmes is an excellent attorney to hire for any criminal allegations a person can find yourself into. He takes times to listen to you about your cases. Then, he informed the person about the details in regards to your case. He charges you a reasonable amount to represent you in court. He is not a liar. He kept his promise to his client all the times. He is an experienced attorney. He is the best in Bartow, Florida. I will definitely recommend him to every single person I know who needs an excellent attorney to represent him or her in court.

Jeff Holmes is not an interested attorney....he stole my money given to him to represent my husband at trial. He was paid already to take the case and when trial was set he was given additional money for representation at trial. However my attorney worked out a plea for me & my husband was getting same plea. When asked for the return of the trial fee he balked and said he deserved it because how long the case had taken...totally not ethical. Save yourself and hire a better attorney you won't regret it.
