This firm is the real deal. My attorney Ken Brown, and the Law Offices of Montell Figgins got me the justice I deserved, and saw it through. I highly recommend if you have a case in family law to seek out this firm. Ken Brown is straight forward and direct as a lawyer should be, and will fight to the end!

It’s so unfortunate because initially I had such a good initial consultation with Mr. Brown. He advised me to sign documentation so that he would represent me and had me pay an initial security deposit. I was able to resolve the matter shortly after without having to take legal action. When I informed his office of this I had thanked them and asked if I could get a refund of the deposit. I was told that it was not their problem that I didn’t need legal representation anymore. Even though no work was completed on their part, they told me that’s too bad and I already signed the agreement. It was never told to me that the deposit was non refundable. The secretary even had the nerve to say that I was rude for assuming that no work was done. When I asked him to send me proof of work that was completed, because I would have no problem paying if work was in fact completed. He agreed. Unsurprisingly, nothing was ever sent. It was a completely different experience from my initial consultation. Completely lacking integrity.

We did a case with Kenneth Brown in this office. He was very unprofessional, incompetent, and unorganized. He does not do what is asked of him at all. We provided evidence for the case which he did not even submit to the judge. He failed to request an interpreter for the witness that we brought on the case. On multiple accounts, I would give him documents and when I ask him about it, he would say that he does not have it. When we would urgently need to speak to him he would always be busy at any time that we call and would not give us the information that we need. He is very forgetful about anything that would be discussed with him. Even when we are able to get him on the phone, he would speak to me about someone else’s case. All he cares about is getting his money and then not doing anything on the case.

Do not trust this office at all. I am so unfortunate i had to hire Kenneth Brown. I lost my case in court plus he lost my original documents and refused to return my money even thu it was his mistake. do not recommend this office for any one. Beware of them.
